Creating From Within
organized by Amanda Karst and Andrea Bullard and guided live on Zoom
This is a simple, open practice: show up, slow down, and make something. This is not to be good at it, but to listen to what's trying to come through. There's no theme to get right, no technique to learn. The art is just the doorway. What you're actually practicing is a kind of attention - gentle, focused, and yours. No art experience needed. Just a willingness to slow down enough to notice what's already there.
If you want to make something with your hands, have whatever you enjoy nearby - whatever feels right. That might be paper and pastels, a pencil and a napkin, clay, old magazines, or anything you want. You might also want a little space to move or stretch, and something to write with. If all you have is yourself and a quiet corner, that's enough too.
